Thomas, Samuel O. (Managing Director)
He is a Geologist by Training with over 16 years industry experience. Thomas has worked as a Developmental and Well site Geologist, Core Drilling Engineer, E & P Data Management/Engineering and Software applications Quality control.

Thomas is proficient in several E & P applications/skills, applied for cost effective operations of oil exploration unto production.

Before joining Vitop Energy Services, Thomas has worked with various companies such as

  • International DataLog Houston Texas, as a Wellsite Geologist,

Terry W. Bryant (Chief Geologist)

Experience:
Eight years experience in well site geology in the following areas:

  • Barnett Shale: East Newark Field, Parker County, Texas.
  • Austin Chalk: Polk County, Texas.
  • Cotton Valley pinnacle reef play: East Texas.
  • Gulf coast plain in Louisiana and Texas.
  • South Texas.
  • Shelf and deep GOM.
  • Cook Inlet, Alaska.
  • Interpretation of well logs for conventional and unconventional plays.
  • Analytical techniques for both conventional and unconventional play.
  • Petrophysical techniques as applied to resource evaluation for both conventional and unconventional plays.

Four years experience with drill bit optimization:

  • Assisted in the development of a rock mechanics bit optimization tool utilizing petrophysical data.
  • PDC bit selection for drilling optimization.
  • Running bits in the field within the GOM, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, Algeria.

  • Well log interpretation for coal bed gas seams.
  • • Gas desorption tests for GIP analysis.
  • Kerogen Resources:
  • Evaluation and quality control of logs from wells within twelve basins of interest.
  • Collection of pressure and temperature data from petrophysical and mud logs for mapping within the basins of interest.
  • Collection and mapping of specific gravity data associated with zones of interest for thermal maturity.
  • Seismic data interpretation and analysis:

Five years experience with Paradigm Geophysical with the following:

  • VoxelGeo: Seismic data interpretation and analysis (i.e. onshore Gulf Coast Plain, south Texas, offshore western Africa).
  • SolidGeo: Modeling and creation of 3D fetures (i.e. detached salt bodies GOM, western Africa).
  • GeoSec2D and GeoSec3D: Structural modeling and restoration.
  • Transfer of data between GeoQuest and Landmark applications with Paradigm applications.

Paul Emos (Director of Drilling Operations)
He is a Houston Texas based Lead MWD/LWD Engineer.
Paul has a B.Sc. in Geology and has over 15 years experience in Land/Sea Directional drilling, LWD/MWD and well logging.

He began his career in the Exploration department of Shell Petroleum in Nigeria. He has worked for major service companies such as Western Geophysical where he was involved in planning, designing and acquisition of 2D/3D seismic program for both land and sea operations.
While working with Halliburton Energy (Sperry-Sun), he started as Surface data logging Specialist in Gulf of Mexico and proceeded to work with various Operators as Lead MWD/LWD Engineer at various land locations across continental USA.

Paul has attended many specialized logging and seismic acquisition/processing courses. He is quite proficient in the use of various oil and gas software/applications. He is currently a Lead MWD/LWD Consultant Engineer and he has worked in Africa, Middle East and USA (Land and Offshore).

Isaac Thompson (Senior Drilling and Production Manager)


He is a veteran of the energy industry with Drilling, Formation Evaluation and Project management skills. He had successfully developed lots of oil and gas properties, planned and developed major oil reservoir for lots of Clients around the Continental USA, Europe and West Africa. He worked closely with Shell and Chevron Texaco to help fast track the development of deep water oil field offshore Nigeria and to identify other additional infill well drilling and exploration opportunities.

Before joining VITOPENERGY SERVICES, Engr. Isaac held a number of Field Services management positions with several multi-national servicing corporations based in Houston and West Africa, including Schlumberger Drilling And Measurement Ltd., Baker Hughes Inteq Houston Texas etc.

He is extremely proficient in all facets of the oil exploration and production cycle and provides valued skills in the managing of in-country drilling teams, working with equity partners and government officials to ensure compliance, providing technical input for the design of all production facilities, and directing reservoir studies.

Isaac is a graduate Electrical Engineer. He is a registered professional engineer with the State of Texas and is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Isaiah Terry (Petroleum Engineer and Project Manager)

He is a performance-driven petroleum engineering professional with more than 10 years of experience. He has solid strengths in industrial and oil and gas engineering projects. Accomplished and analytical expert in project engineering, project management, and cost engineering. Advance multimillion dollar technical projects from concept to finished product; execute test analysis, production improvement, cost containment, and quality control.
